Abstract


THE NOVEL “SHAKKATU’L-HURRIYYAH” IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF POLITICIAL AND MODERN ARAP NOVEL
The relationship of modern Arabic novel to politics has been summitized by the establishment of Arab countries that have followed mandatory regimes after World War I. In the Arab novel written during this period, traces of realism from romance seem to be evident. Experienced political events, conflicts of thought took place in Arab novel. Gazi Abdurrahman al-Kusaybî was educated in Bahrain, Egypt and America before his working life; He Is a poet and novelist in Saudi Arabia who has worked in senior positions such as academics, deanship, ministry and embassy in business life. Al-Qusaybî's Shakkat al-hurriye novel, which has gained fame with its free poetry that he wrote, is a work that draws attention to the political and intellectual developments of the Middle Ages of the period, bringing together his political and literary personality.
